This is a blog to explain in a legal and historical context the life and alleged crimes of Erzebet Bathory. We hope to be fair and enlightening to our readers. We welcome comments, but remain family friendly.

Please see below; note the link if you want to subscribe. It is very well done, and parts of it are reproduced here and there on this blog. Includes photos of Erzebet's castles and a review of Craft's Infamous Lady.
Greetings good people of COBSAE,
We hope this note finds you all doing well. Attached for your enjoyment is our latest Winter/Spring 2013 issue of the Community of Bathory Scholars and Enthusiasts newsletter. Spring is right around the corner and I am sure many of us are ready to shake off winter's icy grip and turn our thoughts toward wanderlust and ideas of adventure and unexplored lands. This edition hits the spot as our own Gary Rice shares his experiences of the wonderful journey he took this past fall in search of the Countess and her Carpathian lands. We're certain you'll be transported by the beauty of his photography and become inspired to plan your own adventure!
As always, we enjoy hearing from you and love to share your contributions! If you have a Bathory related feature you would like to share with our members, please feel free to drop us a line at: cobsae@infamouslady.com
Wishing you a warm and wonderful springtime!
~Liz Carrington
