This is a blog to explain in a legal and historical context the life and alleged crimes of Erzebet Bathory. We hope to be fair and enlightening to our readers. We welcome comments, but remain family friendly.

In Memoriam Anne Boleyn
Martyred May 19, 1536. I dedicate to her and to Erzebet today, my Hymn to Arachne, a poem published in my chapbook, Sappho, I should have Listened, 918studio, 2010:
Hymn to Arachne
Twisting, turning, taut and tense,
Weft and woof and
Hemp so dense,
Ikat colors
Hues hand-dyed
Stories told from
Days sublime.
Weaver’s touch all
Magick conjure
Weave the colors
Patterns under
Cloak me now in
Wool and silk,
Woe to those
Who wish bad ilk.
